Description:
- Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of all departments and ensure projects remain on task
- Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication to the mission
- Evaluate performance for each department and the organization as a whole by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
- Relays departmental updates, needs, and concerns to the CEO as needed
- Develops and maintains organizational systems to ensure that all work is done efficiently and on-time
- Oversees all interdepartmental projects and ensures effective communication between departments
- Oversees and approves external vendor contracts
- Oversees general compliance with key legal regulations (which may include business licensing, taxation, and charitable solicitation license requirements)
- Oversees the annual budget and finances and ensures expenses and income are on track. Ensures functional expense category allocations are accurate and on-target to meet organizational goals and makes plans for correction if off-track
- Works closely with the CEO to determine the overall direction of the organization and further organizational goals for performance and growth
- Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
- Assist CEO and Vice President in fundraising ventures
- Build and manage relationships with other organizations and key individuals
Experience Needed: Proven experience as Chief Operating Officer or relevant role, BS/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MS/MBA is a plus
