Duties and Responsibilities – The purpose of the Business Assistant is to support the back-end processes, and financial systems ensuring employee and donor needs are met with timeliness, efficiency, and professionalism. As a result, employees and volunteers understand their expectations and are more satisfied in their role to confidently serve our community.
Assist with the processing of donations.
Has a working knowledge of tax credit and processing of donor tax credit and tax statements.
Assist with work in QuickBooks such as: categorizing, matching transactions, reconciling, and attaching receipts.
Conduct onboarding and orientation for new staff.
Conduct office trainings.
Assist with drafting and keeping track of policies and procedures.
Assist with statements, invoices, and drafting of formal letters.
Schedule staff for office shifts and updating of calendar with employee approved shift changes.
Scan, save and file all employment documents and receipts.
Downloading, printing, auditing, and saving employee timesheets.
Assist with paperwork and other business-related matters.
Answering incoming calls and respond within 24 hours of inquiry.
